Hot Range Chefs

Our clients are happy to sponsor qualified and experienced overseas chefs to join their dynamic and energetic teams operating in fast paced and support team environment. Must be strong in French, Italian & Western cookery. Applicants must deliver consistently high quality of food product from the kitchen brigade in a hygienic, timely, accurate manner. Ability to provide leadership and value addition to menu is highly regarded.

  • Education: Certificate in Hospitality

  • Experience: 3 year(s)

Other Requirements

Must have IELTS overall 5 points with a minimum of 4.5 in each of the four test components to consider for Australian vacancies (IELTS is not necessary for vacancies in New Zealand).

In addition to test results you will need exceptional command of English to manage operations and communicate with the team.

Income

Based on skills, you will earn a minimum of AUD 53,900 per annum in Australia or a minimum of NZD 43,000 per annum in New Zealand.

Reports to: Head Chef.

Skills

  • Managing the Kitchen including financial, staff, stock, menus, promotions in a hands on, professional manner including cooking, assembly and preparation of meals.

  • Training Kitchen team to ensure all meals are presented to an exceptionally high standard.

  • Keeping a high standard of cleanliness in the Kitchen.

  • Control Food cost of sales in line with budget including staff meals and wastage.

  • Control wages including production wages and service wages in line with hotel budgets.
